Though it is in temporary use as set for zombie series and films, it is slated for demolition and redevelopment in a matter of months. Olive must work to preserve the legacy of her beloved mall, and the secrets hidden deep within it.

Purple Honey (Novel in-progress, 2024)

Halley Dee Blackwell is a legend; a woman who turned a 1930s federal subsidy for growing kudzu into a miracle honey that saved the women of Southern Appalachia. Set in southwestern Virginia in the decades before and after World War II, this novel explores agriculture, the rise of country music and radio, traveling medicine shows, women’s liberation, and the mythology of the American South.
